Dissemination Event: Carbon Farming & Resilient Food Systems
As part of the European project CarboFarmHub, NANG & AKEP organized a hybrid dissemination event on May 6th, 2025, held at the Perrotis College, Thessaloniki, Athens. The event is addressed to producers, entrepreneurs, scientists, consultants, and students who are interested in learning more about organic agriculture and the innovative solutions offered by carbon farming.
The aim of the initiative was to educate, inform, and increase awareness among participants regarding carbon farming.

The dissemination event successfully brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, fostering meaningful dialogue on the future of organic agriculture and carbon farming. With insightful presentations from experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable agriculture, participants gained valuable knowledge on cutting-edge practices and solutions. The event attracted strong interest, with 117 registrations and 58 actual participants—52 attending in person and 6 joining online—demonstrating a growing commitment to environmental sustainability within the agricultural sector. The high level of engagement, especially among students, researchers, and professionals, along with balanced gender representation (54% female), highlights the inclusive and impactful nature of the initiative.
