Dissemination Event: Vineyards & Carbon Sequestration
On the 12th December 2024, AGROBIO organised an event on carbon farming, focused on reducing CO2 emissions in Portuguese vineyards.
Eng. Jose Raul Ribeiro presented the concept, current practices, improvement measures, and successful examples in Portugal.
The target group was students and young farmers, with 64 participants (43% women) out of 104 registered.
Feedback was very positive, with strong interest in repeating the initiative. The exchange of different perspectives among the various sectors represented was particularly valuable.
