Dissemination Event: Organic Farming & Carbon Sequestration #4
On July 1st 2025, AGROBIO held a session in Mertola as part of the Carbon Farming Awareness Hub project, bringing together organic producers, farm managers, and technical experts.
The event focused on the role of carbon farming in improving soil fertility and productivity, while contributing to climate change mitigation in Mediterranean farming systems.
With 15 participants, the session generated strong interest and active engagement. The presentation and subsequent informal discussion encouraged knowledge sharing and reflection on practical applications. Participants expressed a clear interest in joining future local initiatives to deepen their understanding of sustainable practices and carbon sequestration.
