Dissemination Event: Organic Farming & Carbon Sequestration #3
On May 10th 2025, AGROBIO held an event in the Algarve as part of the Carbon Farming Awareness Hub project, aimed at students, farmers, and consumers linked to organic production.
The session focused on the role of Carbon Farming in improving soil fertility and combating climate change through carbon sequestration.
With 21 participants, mostly young people, the event received positive feedback. The speaker’s experience as a young farmer helped create a strong connection, and participants showed great interest in learning more and joining future local initiatives on sustainable agricultural practices.
